 The reason Universities exist is to enable learning. With mainstream students, they can do this relatively easily if they apply themselves. When a D/deaf student starts university certain other factors come into play and can often cause a barrier to their learning. 

The D/deaf student may need provision in order to access their education fully. This comes in many shapes, such as note-takers, BSL interpreters and/or specialist professional for deaf people, to name but a few .

Deaf Student Solutions is a One Stop Solution for all D/deaf and hard of hearing student provisioning in educational settings.  We aim to provide students with a bespoke service that allows them to have full and equal access to further and higher education.

Our team has many years experience of provisioning for D/deaf students in further and higher education and are passionate about ensuring students access education on the same terms as their peers

 We aim to empower the students with whom we work so they are able to access and enjoy their education, gain the knowledge & skills they are seeking and realise their future aspirations.   

We also encourage students through all aspects of their  their university life and ensure support is available when need outside the classroom for things such as extra curricular activities and postgraduate interviews.
